Abstract

We study the effects of the Ramon y Cajal program on the scientific productivity of its participants, four years after the application. In the aggregate, the contract status increases the number of papers published by researchers as well as their average impact factor. This result is mainly driven by the special relevance of experimental sciences in the Program.
