Resum

In the context of stochastic choice, we introduce and behaviorally characterize a choice-theoretic model which admits a notion of interactive influence among individuals. The model presumes that individual choice is not only determined by idiosyncratic evaluations of the alternatives but also by the influence from other individuals. We establish that the model is uniquely identified; hence, the degree of influence can be inferred from the observable choice behavior. We also show that the behavior produced by our model constitutes a stable equilibrium when embedded in a dynamic environment.
